Brief Synopsis of what High School and Middle School talked about: 

To finish up our series, we talked about the word “Rescue” and what it means to be a group all about loving and serving others.  Mike Labelle and Becca Ebenhoch brought the word for High School and Andrew Kauffman brought the word for Middle School.  Here’s some notes from the message:

We are INTENTIONAL: we are always thinking about who is around us.  How can we best love them, listen to them, and care for the people around us?  Let’s move deeper in our relationships and ask the hard questions.

We are RELENTLESS: We look for opportunities to serve and reach others.  We want our life to be about serving others and moving them towards truth.

We are BOLD: We don’t let awkwardness get in the way of telling people about Jesus.  We go beyond the “how are you’s” and go deeper in our relationships.

Ultimately, we do all of this because Jesus first loved us.  He is intentional about us and loves us relentlessly.  He boldly went after the 1 when there were many others.  We can’t help but tell everyone we know about Jesus through our actions and our words.

Follow Up Questions: 

1. Are the relationships that you have intentional?  Do you have deep conversations?
2. When a friend is going through a hard time, do you tend to want to go deeper or not get into it?  Do you lean more towards speaking truth in their lives or just letting the problem be?
3. How can you have more intentional relationships with people? (both of you discuss this in your own lives)
4. Do you go out of your way to serve others?
