RETREAT | NOVEMBER 10-12, 2023

We are so excited to get to do Retreat again this Fall! Retreat is an awesome time to slow down and give space to hear from God and sit in the stillness long enough to listen to Him.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

This year middle school to headed back to Dream Mountain Christian Camp in Murphy’s, CA to get some fresh mountain air and spend some intentional time pursuing our relationship with Jesus. We will hike together, play outside together, worship together, and spend time with God and with one another.

HIGH SCHOOL

This year our high school students are headed to Camp Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA. We will hang out at the beach together, play some games in the common room, worship together, and most importantly spend intentional time with Jesus and with one another.

Here’s a few things you should know:

PRICE: $140 (this covers the cost of lodging for two nights, meals, and transportation to and from camp)

MIDDLE SCHOOL (Current 6-8th graders)

• You will be meeting at the church in the Pavilion on Friday, November 10 at 10 am (don’t worry, there’s no school!) and then qualified volunteer staff will be driving you up to Dream Mountain Christian Camp in Murphys, CA
• You will arrive back in Modesto on Sunday, November 12 at 2:30 pm

HIGH SCHOOL (Current 9-12th graders)

• You will be meeting at the church in the Pavilion on Friday, November 10 at 10 am (don’t worry, there’s no school!) and then qualified volunteer staff will be driving you up to Camp Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA
• You will arrive back in Modesto on Sunday, November 12 at 2:30 pm

WHAT TO PACK: (Remember to pack light! It’s only two nights!)

• clothes for cool weather
• sweatshirt or jacket
• sandals for beach or hiking shoes for mountains
• sleeping bag
• pillow
• towel
• beach towel or blanket to sit on (HS only)
• fun group games (optional!)
• toiletries (including any medication you may need)
• sunscreen and bug spray
• bible
• notebook
• pen
