We're looking at the letter Paul wrote to the church in Corinthians. He says we're “called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” but what does that mean? We have such different personalities and opinions, and our human natures make it very difficult to get along. Paul wrote this letter to help the early church come together amidst many kinds of challenges and become the community that God called them to be. His words apply to us just as much now as they did to the Corinthians.
