Thank you for your prayers and partnership as we discern God’s leading in calling our next Lead Pastor. Consider this page your first stop for questions regarding the Lead Pastor search process including up-to-date information, links to past communication, and a timeline of milestones.

Possible Congregational Vote | If the process proceeds, then the Deacons would recommend the candidate for a church member vote with a two-week advance notice. Each church member, 14 years of age and older, who is present at the special meeting has the right to vote.

Bo Lee will preach a sermon in our current Romans series followed by a Q+A session in the Worship Center. You can submit your question ahead of time by emailing [email protected] or utilizing Slido at the event.

We will post recordings of both Bo’s sermon and the Q+A session on this page, which will continue to be the best place to access the most up-to-date information.

After thorough review the Search Committee recommends one candidate to move forward for Deacon consideration.

November 2025-February 2026

The Search Committee is formed by the Deacons to assist with resume review and initial interview vetting of candidates. The committee is comprised of two deacons, two staff members, and five congregational voting units that represent a cross-section of age groups, life stages, and marital statuses, all with an equal voice and vote.

October 2025

Lead Pastor profile and job description posted online and CrossPoint starts accepting applications. Initial contact for applicants and vetting assistance provided by our consultant, Tim Eldred from The Authentic Pastor.

The Authentic Pastor conducts an all-church health survey. Based on recommendations and discernment by CrossPoint leadership, it’s decided to prioritize establishing a new leadership structure before beginning the Lead Pastor search.

The Deacons decide to hire Tim Eldred from The Authentic Pastor as a consultant to assist with the process of seeking the next Lead Pastor as well as addressing leadership structural changes.
