Follow Jesus
• Jesus charged His church to make disciples who would walk with Him in relational intimacy and honor Him as King by obedience to His commands.
• As His disciples, we are called to follow Jesus with deep love and deep obedience.
Love People
• Jesus took a posture of deep humility and loves us sacrificially. We joyfully follow His example.
• Love defined by the life of Jesus is the intersection of what is kind, patient, and true. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) When love lacks any of these, it does not reflect Jesus.
• Disciples of Jesus are characterized by love for people who are in the family of God and those who aren’t.
Make Disciples
• Making disciples is the church’s primary purpose and should guide all that we do.
• We make disciples by inviting others to follow Jesus, love people, and make more disciples.
